Stagiaire en entreprise (company internship — convention de stage, parcours Entreprise)

This is a temporary long-stay visa (VLS-T) for foreign nationals coming to France for a company internship that forms part of their overseas academic programme, vocational training, or recognised international cooperation arrangement. The qualifying instrument is a tripartite convention de stage, signed by the intern, their Vietnamese sending institution, and the French host company. This convention must be validated by French authorities before the visa application is filed — the host company's responsibility, typically requiring at least 2 months' lead time. The visa is valid for up to 6 months and, unlike VLS-TS visas, does not require ANEF validation on arrival. No work permit is required.
