VISAHJELP

Young worker (Jeunes salariés / Jeunes professionnels) — NOT AVAILABLE to Vietnamese applicants

**This visa is NOT available to Vietnamese applicants.** The Jeunes professionnels (Young professionals) long-stay VLS-TS, regulated by bilateral young-professional exchange agreements between France and partner countries, is open only to nationals of states that have signed such an agreement. The adjacent Programme Vacances-Travail (Working Holiday Programme) is similarly bilateral. **Neither list includes Vietnam as of 2026-05-13** — verified against the Ministry of Interior bilateral-mobility page, France-Visas Jeunes salariés and Jeunes voyageurs portals, and France Diplomatie's France-Vietnam bilateral dossier. The exact country lists drift (new agreements signed periodically, others suspended — e.g. Russia's PVT was suspended in 2022); per the project's numeric-claims discipline, the atlas does not enumerate the lists inline — re-verify on the live authoritative pages before each consultation. This atlas entry is informational — to clarify the closure and redirect Vietnamese applicants to alternative work-track paths.

From the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs

“No application possible from Vietnam under this subtype as of 2026-05-13. Redirect Vietnamese applicants seeking similar profiles to: (1) **salaried-activity (VLS-TS Salarié)** if they have a French employment offer and the employer can sponsor the autorisation de travail; (2) **talent-passport (qualified employee or EU Blue Card sub-tracks)** if their qualifications and offered salary meet the thresholds; (3) **student-internship (VLS-TS Stagiaire)** if their plan is short-term skill-building under a tripartite convention; (4) **long-term-studies (VLS-TS Étudiant)** if their primary goal is studies in France; (5) **non-salaried-activity (Entrepreneur / Profession libérale)** if they intend to launch a self-employed activity.”

What you need

  • Not applicable — Vietnam is not party to a young-professional bilateral agreement with France, and not in the Programme Vacances-Travail list, as of 2026-05-13. Vietnamese applicants are not eligible for either pathway. Re-verify the current bilateral lists on the live Ministry of Interior bilateral-mobility page (`https://www.immigration.interieur.gouv.fr/limmigration-en-france/accords-internationaux`) and on france-visas.gouv.fr/jeunes-salaries (jeunes professionnels) + france-visas.gouv.fr/jeunes-voyageurs (PVT) before each consultation, as new agreements are signed periodically and existing agreements can be suspended.
