Talent passport — Artistic and cultural profession (Profession artistique et culturelle)

This Talent Passport category is for foreign artists and authors coming to France to work as performers or as literary or artistic creators. You must be a performing artist or the author of a literary or artistic work, earn monthly resources at least equal to 70% of the French minimum wage, with at least 51% of that income coming from your artistic activity itself. If you work on a salaried basis, you need at least three months of cumulative contracts over any twelve-month period with companies whose main business is the creation or exploitation of works of the mind — such as production companies, publishing houses, theatres, or music labels. The visa authorises both salaried and independent artistic work in France for up to four years.

From the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs
